Shakespeare
As you'd expect of a pub named after England's most famous playwright The Shakesepare is a British pub in the heart of Baku. End of.
Red Olive
Dripping chandeliers and gilt-framed mirrors abound at Red Olive a favourite of both smartly-dressed cool cats and casually thrown-together club kids
The Old Forester
If you like your pubs old sprawling and bedecked with quintessential British style then the Old Forester is your man. So to speak.
Victor’s Bar
Chill-out tunes and casual cocktails make up the vibe at Victor's Bar the crowning glory of the Park Inn Hotel. Rest relax and reflext stunning views of the cty unfolding before you.

Finnegans
Get a bit of Irish in you at Finnegans Baku's signature Irish bar. What city doesn't have one?
Corner Bar
Rock chicks and biker boys return to the mothership at Corner Bar where heavy metal pumps out of the speakers and burly tattooed staff members flank the bar.
Beluga Bar
You don't need to stay at the Hyatt Regency to enjoy its in-house bar - and many of those who frequent Beluga Bar don't. Which is a good sign we assure you.
Azza Bar
Panoramic views are just the beginning at Azza Bar; perched atop the ISR Plaza building this elegant watering hole serves up a hip party atmosphere against a backdrop of jazz.

While we wouldn't usually recommend you go to an ex-pat boozer Adam's Sports is the exception with a crowd of larger-than-life Brits and sports shown on larger-then-life screens.
Zakura
Bite-sized tapas dishes are served with Bakuvian bite here at Zakura; interior design by London-based Blue Sky Hospitality adds to its flare.
The Grill
Tucked inside the Hyatt Regency The Grill offers blood-loving carnivores steak and style under one ceiling rose-covered roof.
Trattoria L’Oliva
Offering casual Italian dining downtown is L'Oliva with traditional Tuscan décor and belt-busting Italian fare.
Terrace Garden
Proving once and for all that size doesn't necessarily matter the Sultan Inn's Terrace Garden seats just 24 and offers the kind of intimate atmosphere usually reserved for a dinner party.
Pencere
Alpine chic is matched perfectly with authentic Azeri cuisine at Pencere; presentation is particularly pleasing.
Scalini
Scallini is Baku's signature eatery; perenially popular it serves up innovative Italian fare in casual laid-back surroundings. No wonder Pierce Brosnan eat here while in town.
Shilla
As Baku's only Korean restaurant Shilla has a lot to prove; and that it does with adventurous dishes supplemented by simpler plates for the easily-scared.
Sultans
Power trippers will love the regal treatment offered at Sultans; from the majestic interiors to the authentic Azeri menu it's class all the way.
Old City
While its décor may not promise much the traditional Azeri cuisine being prepared in the kitchen of Old City will have even the smallest eater begging for more.
Paul’s
Unless your name is Gordon Ramsay naming a restaurant after yourself is risky business; fortunately however Paul's has the goods to back it up with a brilliant Swiss/German menu and an enormous garden in which to swig beer.
Mugham Club
Yet another venue championing Azeri Mugham - hence its name - The Mugham Club hosts concerts and dances for culture vultures across the globe.
Occo
Occo is the kind of restaurant you could imagine featuring on the gorgesouly glossy pages of Wallpaper* magazine; decadently designed it certainly knows how to wow with inspiring interiors and elegant European cuisine.
Mado
Less is more at Mado where neat portions of Japanese fare are served up against a sparsely decorated backdrop.
Mesa Lounge
Bright young things are drawn to Mesa Lounge like moths to a very fabulous flame; Japanese and European menus combine with sumptuous Spanish-esque interiors for a very alluring venue indeed.
Imereti
Seek and ye shall find - at least that's the case at Imereti a restaurant so hidden you might have lost you appetite by the time you get there. That said once found you're guaranteed gorgeous Georgian food and décor.
Khazar
Seafood lovers can't get enough of Khazar a no-frills eatery facing out towards the Caspian Sea.
Finestra
Italian stallions will love the trendy trattoria-style ambience at Finestra; an extensive menu filled with inspiring Italian staples add to its fabulousness.
Firuza
Authentic Azeri fare can be had at Firuza where a mind-bogglingly confusing menu awaits; that said the staff are more than happy to explain each and every dish on offer.
Georgian Home
If Lewis Carroll had made a foray into interior design then Georgian Home would probably have been the result; and with an eclectic menu to match eclectic interiors it's not hard to see why its reservation book is fit-to-bursting on any given day.
Ibrus Wine Bar
Those on the liquid diet should sample the goods on offer at the Ibrus Wine Club more of an excuse to get drunk than have dinner.
Caravansera
Step back in time at Caravansera; age-old interiors and an ancient atmosphere make for an authentic Azeri ambeince.
Cio Cio San
You don't have to be a bookworm to know that Cio Cio San is named after the heroine in Madame Butterfly; similarly you don't need to be a die-hard foodie to know that its Japanese fare is the best in Baku.
Dalida Deluxe
Dalida is split into a restaurant and a café; the former is Dalida Deluxe and offers fine dining high above the rooftops on a gloriously sun-soaked al fresco terrace.
Azza Fyujin
The sky really is the limit for Azza Fyujin which crowns the ISR Plaza building and offers awe-inspiring Asian fusion 17 fabulous floors up.
Bah Bah
We're not quite sure how to pronounce upside-down e's but that doesn't stop us from loving the authentic Azeri atmosphere at Bah-Bah; live music nights are particularly boisterous.
