Hotel Soho Barcelona
Sleek and pared back, it’s not hard to pick up on the “design hotel” mojo of the Hotel Soho Barcelona. There are crisp white linens, glass walls, and an industrial colour palette which calls to mind concrete and traffic cones. But while the surrounds are minimalist, the rooms come with their own trendy version of excess; the beds are cloud-like and you can customise the lighting (either SOFT or HOT) to suit your mood. And the rooms on the seventh floor truly live up to their “superior” monicker with balconies offering panoramic views of the city.
Up on the eighth floor, guests can enjoy Hotel Soho Barcelona’s wood-decked terrace and open air pool; perfect for kicking back with a sundowner while enjoying the views of Gran Via and the Eixample or catching a few rays in the peace and quiet high above the city streets. Although the hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant, its location on the Gran Via, minutes from the Plaça Catalunya, means that some of Barcelona’s best restaurants are a mere amble from your comfortable guestroom.
