As the hottest and most talked about restaurant in Berlin, Sage has a lot a live up to. Fortunately it doesn’t disappoint, with a location in trendy Kreuzberg inside a repurposed silk factory and a menu of traditional German dishes given a high-end twist courtesy of chef Sebastian Leifer. Think suckling pig chops with prune gravy and spinach. Inspiring interiors add to the restaurant’s panache, with a dining area as razor-thin as the clientele, vaulted ceiling and bare-brick walls. No wonder the reservations book is jam-packed.
