H.Sasson Wok & Satay Bar has a large two-floor dining area, and it is one of the restaurants in Bogota which has an outdoor patio, wisely sheltered by a glass ceiling to accomodate for the city’s unpredictable weather patterns. The design is modern, but the large open area feels relaxed and casual. The food is a loose take on Asian fusion, with duck spring rolls (absolutely delicious), chicken satay and sea bass tartare. This is one of Harry Sasson’s main restaurants and he takes care of his guests, creating a relaxed atmosphere for businessmen and families as they follow thee-course meals with hour-long coffees. No one misses the third course; the guava tart is delicious, and only rivalled by a spectacular chocolate soufflé. And when you finally leave, you only need to step outside to be surrounded (literally) with fabulous shops on all sides.
