Forget the pizza and forget the other branches of this pizzeria chain you may see in Puerto Madero or in San Isidro. This one has a lot more going for it – and not least, the incredible opening hours.
rnIt’s popular with a highly attractive young Argentine crowd, who pop in for an early beer and a bite, or for one of the fabulous ice-creams, on their way back from an afternoon’s shopping in Palermo Viejo. If you are feeling confident about moving to Buenos Aires permanently, this Pizza Cero also doubles up as a Mini showroom.
rnThe owner – who rates Morena (see EAT) as his favourite evening spot for an affair – says they are ideal for weaving through Buenos Aires’ traffic at pace. Intriguingly, Pizza Cero also sports a wine-mixing bar, the idea being that you can blend your Malbec with your Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah or Merlot.
rnA relaxing, if alcoholic, way to end an afternoon’s shopping and warm up for the evening.
