The very definition of trendy, Munchie is fast becoming one of the most popular restaurants in Chamonix. Hardly surprising, then, that bright young things flock here to enjoy a range of Asian-inspired dishes that verge on the truly decadent; expect piled-high plates of teriyaki duck, fillet steak, Thai curry, hickory smoked prawns and calamari.
As you’d expect, the presentation is colourful and modern, with everything backed up by the kind of wine list that would please even the most discerning drinker. The restaurant itself is split across three floors, with the middle floor housing the bar area; it is here that a cool crowd congregates for pre- or post-dinner cocktails and social climbing. With their penchant for style, it’s no shocker that Scandinavians are the brains behind Munchie.
