La Folie Douce
The Courchevel restaurants will be left behind again for those who opt for La Folie Douce. It is certainly worth the trip over to Val Thorens; ski hard in the morning, enjoy a late lunch and then join the party, which gets underway at around 3pm daily when the tables are stacked away to make room to dance.
The interiors are modelled on La Folie Douce’s sister restaurant La Fruitière in Val d’Isere and feature unusual milking parlour décor. Be sure to keep an eye on the time for last lifts back – otherwise it’s an expensive taxi ride home! Find this hip hangout on the Plein Sud chairlift on the link to Meribel.
