Itsy Bitsy: Ramen and Whisky
Although considered “tiny” by American standards (2,500 square-feet), Itsy Bitsy: Ramen and Whisky–found at the base of the urban residential building in Downtown Vegas, The Ogden–more than makes up for any perceived lack of space with a chic concept and oodles of style. There’s wood-panelling, drop lighting, and splashes of copper and other colourful metal accents, not to mention the blackboards and large-scale art works on the walls; it’s a setting that befits the expansive, flavour-heavy menu.
In addition to the titular ramen (created with your choice of broth, noodles and toppings), Isty Bitsy: Ramen and Whisky offers a great selection of Japanese-inspired dishes, from gyoza and hand rolls to sumptuous seared tuna and chicken katsu rice bowls. The drinks menu, meanwhile, is rich in sakes, Japanese whiskies and imported, domestic and craft beers, as well as innovative cocktails that pair fantastically with the food. And their wallet-friendly, almost week-round happy hour is an undeniable draw. Who wouldn’t want to kick off the weekend with a sake bomb and some potstickers?
