We love the Todd English of Olives and Figs, but the big-headed celeb chef has had his share of missteps. Still, Mr. English’s latest endeavour, a casual British-inspired pub at the intersection of Aria and Crystals, is nothing short of a homerun. The long, narrow space houses a lively bar (complete with darts and beer pong) in the front, and homey restaurant, with exposed brick, leather booths and an open kitchen, in the back. The menu offers pub staples like bangers and mash, as well as a make-your-own carvery section, with mix-and-match meats, sauces and breads, and decadent, but simple pleasures like the fried bologna sandwich.
