The Lotus Club is a hip new restaurant/lounge/bar space that’s quickly become a hospot for the see-and-be-seen crowd. It’s not difficult to see why. Deisgned by Antoine Van Doorne, this glass cube is a slick place indeed. The square layout lends itself well to people watching, especially as the restaurant is arranged around the large bar area, which distributes excellent cocktails to the glamourous crowd. Chef Phillippe Le Quillec offers a menu that blends French and traditional Moroccan food, all of which are elegantly presented. The food is good (and reassuringly expensive), though to all intents and purposes the Lotus serves as a glamster hub and late night drinking spot. Note that reservations are essential, both for the bar and the restaurant.
