Not many restaurants in Megève (or anywhere) are in a state of flux such as Le Delicium currently is – this hugely popular Italian brings back hungry customers to its doors season after season – but it is changing, there is something of the St Tropez about the new outdoor terrace with its chill out bar. Found slightly out of the centre of Megève it is amazing how it manages to be constantly buzzing. The menu combines trad Italian cooking with local Savoie ingredients and ranges from delicious pizzas to exquisite truffle dishes (in season, of course). The décor has an understated chic that combines mountain elegance with comfort and warmth. Reservations are essential so book ahead.
