Buck 15
Buck 15 is an overground underground bar dressed in a funky 1970s industrial outfit. The space was converted by Jennie Yip who owns the popular Chinese restaurant Miss Yip Café adjacent.
Buck 15’s bar area is a sitting room filled with 1970s sofas picked up in flea markets and is decorated in street art canvases and skateboards (stuck on the wall) designed by local artists. Individually this upholstery could make you feel nauseous, but collectively the sofas and artwork blend to create Miami’s top retro lounge. The bar supports local emerging artists, musicians and designers, so the crowd is relaxed. But the originality of the place is fast making it into the coolest underground place to hang out in Miami. Proceedings are casually overlooked by a giant sumo wrestler painted onto the back wall.
