10 Corso Como
Named after its street address, Dieci Corso Como is the most important fashion destination out of Milan’s boutique shops, a concept lifestyle emporium of curated consumption from Milan’s grande dame of fashion, Carla Sozzani.
On the fashion floor, every important designer is represented, with a lot of exclusives (including Azzedine Alaïa and Manolo Blahnik). It’s quite an arrogant affair: from the haughty shop assistants to the ’10 Corso Como’ logo-mania sewn into all clothes, this shop fully understands its own importance.
Men’s and women’s fashion, accessories, interiors and beauty are on the ground floor, where shopping meets art in an ethno-urban setting. Trophy coffee-table books and CDs are on the first floor; po-faced shoppers from the smug, self-important Concorde set are all around.
