Although Manon is a bar attached to the restaurant, don’t be fooled- it’s a million miles away from being a simple restaurant waiting area. Manon is a gem of a Moscow bar in its own right. By day its restaurant serves celebrated French, Spanish and Europian cuisine from a Michelin starred chef, transforming after dinner time into a chic late-night favourite of Moscow’s well-heeled and beautiful.
The bar’s decor is that of a spacious glammed-up vintage loft with ornate baroque carved ceiling, sumptuous velvet sofas and a huge cocktail bar in the centre renowned for its array of creative, colourful concoctions in eccentric containers. 70’s glass hanging lamps, disco balls, trendy exposed brick walls and wooden floors sit alongside huge high windows and heavy ceiling beams. Manon is a painfully trendy mish-mash of gothic grandeur meets hip attic meets high-class Russian glitz.
The atmosphere is lively and active, with DJs keeping the party going late into the night and people dancing to house music in every available expanse of floor.
