Adriatico is a popular Italian restaurant in central Moscow for those in-the-know and for everyone else, it’s a gem waiting to be found.
Busy at lunchtime with oligarchs, diplomats and celebrities, it has four different dining areas – each with different interior finishes – where you can peruse the delicious Italian menu on offer.
The front room is decorated in purples, pinks, deep reds and golden yellows, and an abundance of mirrors and candles, which creates a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Here, the menu is less formal, but just as delicious, and cheaper than the rooms towards the back.
This is where the serious food is found, in an all-white and cream interior that leads through to a more simply decorated room with a fishing theme, and then on to a private room in the gallery above. The creative menu is full of wonderful dishes, with serious prices to match.
