Hg2 : The Hedonist

A Hedonist’s guide to…

Moscow

Jet Set
The drinks here might look pretty but they don't actually go very far for your rouble so if you want to get an early start on the alcohol perhaps start with dinner and a few glasses of something intoxicating at Momo or Oblomov, both of which are very
Citrus
Big, beautiful buffet fare at Citrus, all-day dining inside the Leela Kempinski.
Jagger
New York-style warehouse bar and club with billiards room, a summer terrace and a tattooist...
Krik
Krik is Moscow's classiest karaoke venue. Yes, we said it, a classy karaoke joint.
Che
Rage against the machine (society/government/institution of your choice) in this revolutionary dungeon. After your wild night you could cool off with a nocturnal walk across the Red Square.
Garage
Garage's automotive theme sets it apart from other clubbing choices. This is a smaller venue which also offers several bars, a restaurant and weekly strips just to keep things interesting.
Propaganda
Put your trust in the Propaganda DJs and dance, dance, dance.
Metelitsa
Try your luck amongst oligarchs and the good looking in this Moscow's oldest casino.
Shanti
Whether you are in a group or in more specific company you will find a recess to fit your circumstances and frame of mind here in the diverse realms of Shanti.
Sunrise Cafe
The Sunrise Café is golden and stylish and intimate, everything you could want from a 24 hour DJ lounge, café and bar.
Night Flight
A majority of the men here will have come with a specific and expensive agenda but it is an experience in itself even for those who just want the party.
First
The name is not a false boast; First really is a top venue with a dance floor which kicks off early in the evening without easing off until early the following morning.
Phantom
Formerly a theatre, the dramatic Phantom is a casino with a difference - take to the stage and find out if your night will be a tragedy or a comedy!
Jazz Town
Head to this club for a night of dance or chill in the heart and soul of Moscow jazz.
Mio
A restaurant and a nightclub, this place packs a punch.
Mix
Fabrique
Fancy a night out? This is the best venue for house music in town.
Milk & Honey
Colourful, decadent and open 24 hours a day, it's the perfect place to round off your night of luxury with a champagne breakfast.
M-Bar
Small but atmospheric, this jazz club is well worth squeezing into - although you may want to leave before the late-night Russian Karaoke starts!
Skazka
Padded walls here signal the presence of a certain kind of madness at Skazka, which is known to breed on this dance floor - so if you can, get ready for a wild night.
Café Margarita
Interestingly although there are plenty of pretentious venues which might do well to reference the social satire The Master and Margarita this is not one of them. Margarita though was a paragon of virtue which sums up the cafe which is her namesake.
Stereo Café
By day Stereo Cafe is a chill lounge, by night the DJ is King.
Soho Rooms
Uber- exclusive lounge bar and DJ venue with upstairs restaurant- a honeypot for Moscow's stunning young socialites.
The Artist
This camp and colourful new dance club is already being lauded as one of Moscow's premiere DJ venues. If it's real Russian hedonism you're after, a night at The Artist guarantees to be anything but ordinary- a truly theatrical clubbing experience.
Imperia Lounge
Imperia Lounge is one of Moscow’s biggest and most visually spectacular nightclubs, featuring performers and international DJs.
