All Stir Fry
Restaurants in Mumbai don’t get much more centrally-located than All Stir Fry, just a short walk from India Gate and the crowds that gather there. The ‘wok your own’ concept is new to Mumbai (although slightly out-moded in most US and European cities) and this place packs them in most nights – locals love the novel aspect of the interaction at the noodle bar.
Design-wise, All Stir Fry laid out like an Oriental street-style kitchen where you can choose exactly what you’d like; there’s a choice of canteen-inspired seating as well as regular tables, too. Serving a range of different Asian dishes that runs the whole gamut from Mongolian to Thai, there’s something for everyone and the service is notably good. The décor is nothing to write home about, admittedly, but the head chef has trained in China and it is his expertise that earns All Stir Fry its place in this guide.
