The Todd English Food Hall
New York’s answer to the great food halls and markets of the Mediterranean, celebrity chef Todd English’s sprawling basement eatery in The Plaza hotel is not quite what you’d expect from New York’s most iconic luxury hotel. A relaxed affair, diners at The Todd English Food Hall are free to order from nine different food stations, offering everything from fresh Maine lobster and East Coast oysters to steak tacos, handmade sesame pork dumplings and lobster mac n’ cheese. Succulent pork belly sliders arrive in a delightfully sticky hoisin sauce. Moreish fig and prosciutto flatbreads are perfectly crisp and wonderfully aromatic. There’s even an entire dessert station, should this culinary voyage somehow leave your sweet tooth wanting. Wash it all down with one of the signature cocktails or choose from the carefully curated wine list, which features a good range of Old and New World wines.
