Aire Ancient Baths
The Aire Baths, found in cities across Europe and the US, aim to draw on the bathing rituals of the ancient Greeks and Romans to help us modern types relax. Although it’s doubtful the ancients enjoyed such luxurious surrounds as those found here. Cavernous and grand, the baths are housed in a 19th century textile factory in TriBeCa; all exposed brick and gleaming lanterns, with splashes of colour from the enticing turquoise waters of the pools. Indeed, the Aire Ancient Baths offer an experience not to be missed while you’re in TriBeCa.
On a regular visit to the Aire Ancient Baths, guests can enjoy the thermal pools, the jet bath, the relaxation room and the steam room. But there’s also a decadent treatment menu of relaxing massages, body rubs, and even decadent rituals, like the popular red wine experience to indulge in. For added serenity during your visit, you can take a yoga class or listen to an acoustic flamenco concert and enjoy the dulcet tones of the classical guitar.
