V Zátisí, the third in a trilogy of impressive restaurants in Prague (with Bellevue and Mlynec), is regarded as one of the best restaurants in the country. As with the other members of this chain, the emphasis is on creating a grand overall dining experience. Aimed at a decidedly upmarket clientele, the exquisite food is paired with just as outstanding formal service.
A flamboyant 2006 refurbishment successfully did away with the restaurant’s former stiffness, but the reason to come here remains very much the food. The menu offers an eclectic mix of international and domestic fare, drawing ingredients from across the world to create an array of superb dishes.
Ever-changing dégustation menus are available alongside the à la carte choices and, although this is one of the most expensive places to dine in Prague (keep in mind this means that it is around the same price as an average London meal), V Zátisí consistently provides one of the best experiences.
Make a reservation, dress up, and look forward to a venture that allows you to experience the culinary talents of chef Milan Horejš.
