Although not one of our favourite places to stay in St. Moritz, Laudinella isn’t all bad. This innovative, modern hotel has multiple restaurants – there are five in total within the hotel complex, as well as a take-away and two bars. Unfortunately, there is no trace of traditional Alpine style here, and in that sense it is a bit staid. Other annoyances concern the fitness facilities on the fifth floor, which are a bit limited and the sauna costs extra. However, despite these drawbacks, Ladinella offers good value for money – and by St. Moritz standards, a good compromise between style and cost. There are over 200 rooms to choose from at varying rates; we suggest picking a room with a balcony, as they offer fabulous views of the nearby lake.
