It’s in the middle of the business district so tends to attract well-heeled financiers and gents, instead of leery louts like some of the other strip clubs in Sydney. Inside, it smacks of class and feels more akin to a gentlemen’s smoking lounge, with artwork on the walls and stately Chesterfield armchairs spread over one level, with the strip stage towards the end. The ladies offer sensual private lap dances and food and cocktails are a big focus, too – after all, getting hot under the collar works up an appetite. Setting it apart from other venues, Minx also caters to women, offering dinner packages and performances featuring a bevy of buff male dancers. It’s also probably the only place in Sydney where you can tuck into a sirloin and have a lunchtime lap dance – only on Fridays though.
