Sometimes, an alluring name that evokes Hollywood-produced fantasies, and catchy enough to remain relevant, is simply not necessarily. Patio Bar- case in point. Yes, there is a patio where most clients enjoy their drinks. In fact, it is indeed the main attraction. No music outside, for fear of neighbor complaints. No special line-ups of DJs, themed evenings, or big name sponsorships. Lying on a low rise corner of Hayarkon street, with an eternal waft of salt-drenched air breezing from the sea, Patio Bar is straight-forward, unassuming, and explicitly fun.
As with many of the newer, buzzed about venues, Patio Bar enjoys the natural PR generated when the ownership team includes veterans of the Tel Aviv nightlife scene. Word of mouth made the soft-launch of the venue a resounding success, positioning the bar s one of the venues to check out this past summer. Don’t come for sophisticated cocktails or great bar food. An interest in beautiful people along with a disdain for overcrowded dance venues should be the elements needed for an equation leading to the Patio Bar.
