Dining out in Verbier for the people who take their lunch seriously, like top quality food and don’t bother looking at the prices equals Le Cristal. It is situated at Ruinette in a rather ugly and drab building above a self-service restaurant but, like L’Olympique restaurant at Attelas, you should not let appearances deceive you.
The food and the service are impeccable and it is a world away from squeezing round a small table in a converted cow barn with no-where to place your ski gloves. Le Cristal could hold its own in the boulevards of Paris and the streets of Mayfair. And, yes, you can have lobster.
