Cordée des Alpes
Clad in wood, with balconies and chalet-style roofs, the Cordée des Alpes is a centrally located, utterly luxurious hotel in Verbier. The rooms, starting at the “Comfort” level and getting gradually more sumptuous as they move towards the Prestige Suite, are festooned with rustic wood and old stone, state-of-the-art technology, and cosy soft furnishings, and are an ideal blend of old-world Alpine charm and modern elegance. The serviced apartments, meanwhile, make it feel like you have the run of your very own luxurious ski chalet. These sprawling, multi-roomed, high-ceilinged spaces have balconies with mountain views, grand fireplaces and luxurious furnishings and accessories in shades of grey and jewel tones.
Elsewhere in the hotel, guests will find the La Cordée Restaurant, available for breakfast, apres-ski cocktails and dinner, as well as the Cinq Mondes spa. The treatment menu here is extensive, offering everything from rejuvenating facials and “cocooning” Karin Herzog chocolate and cinnamon body massages to authentic hammam experiences from Cinq Mondes that use black soap and Rassoul cream. And if a day on the slopes wasn’t enough to tire you out, there’s also a fully-equipped gym on-site and a beautiful blue mosaic-tiled indoor pool.
