Another of the itinerary runs in Verbier that you access via a path at the bottom of Lac des Vaux. There is a gentle little run down to a path that clings to the rock face, passes a waterfall and then affords spectacular views of the run itself. A further traverse takes you to Col de Mines where you can drop back to Verbier or continue down the Vallon d’Arby itself. There are many routes from here with the marked routes heading off to the left. After a snowfall there will be plenty of fresh powder as the run heads down the valley; our best advice is stay patient and don’t take the first pitch you see as the longer you keep going the better it gets. It ends with a long, flattish path but it only requires a small amount of polling to get out to the village of Tzoumaz and the lift back to Verbier.
