Hg2 : The Hedonist

Radisson Blu

The style at the Radisson is more discreet and business-like than the gilt- edged fantasy showcased by the Rixos, and is typical of what is expected from a high-end international hotel brand. The lobby is the busiest in the city, heaving with a well-heeled international crowd drawn by the excellent service and the strength of the Radisson brand. Built in the tall towers of the Arman complex, most of the 181 rooms offer a view of the city. Find comfort in the neutral simplicity of the accommodation, enjoy the little luxuries (heated bathroom floors) and practical amenities (iron and board) on offer and sample the extravagant buffet breakfast. The hotel is conveniently-located right by the bridge that connects the old and new parts of town and is at the start of a very pleasant river-side walk. The gym, whilst excellently-equipped, is separate to the hotel itself and therefore gaining access is a bit of a convoluted process. Most Astana natives know of the Radisson as one of the city’s best hotels; plus club Chocolate Room and its sister lounge bar Barhat are housed just downstairs.
