This cosy, lovingly scuffed-up little venue in the centre of town is part club, part bar, part theatre and part music venue. They pride themselves in their music policy, which tends to eschew guitar sounds for more urban flavours, and ranges from reggae to drum n bass to world music, sampled jazz and old school funk. The live performances tend to follow a similar theme, and it all fits well with the ambience of the place, which is pretty jazzy, relaxed and intriguing in itself. Despite its location near the heart of the RLD, it remains off the radar for most tourists, and most of the crowd are locals. The club area gets decidedly sweaty, and the music policy tends to attract folk who like to dance. The prices are reasonable, with biertjes under €3, in keeping with this unpretentious youthful crowd.
