Barhat Lounge Restaurant at the Radisson is the popular Chocolate Room’s little brother. Decorated in a very chic and understated style – with each different area encompassing sleeker armchairs and more fabulous chandeliers than the last – you won’t have trouble snagging yourself a sexy corner to whisper a few sweet nothings. Diners should take a seat in the high-backed purple armchairs towards the rear. The menu is fancy European fusion, but there’s a Japanese section to satisfy cravings of the Asian persuasion. If you’re here purely to sip on expensive cocktails, the white leather sofas by the bar are your best bet. The lights dims as the night progresses but the music stays fairly soft, allowing you and your drinking companion to engage in cocktail-fuelled conversations. And if it’s something louder you’re after, Chocolate Room is just next door.
