Spread over two floors, Kazbar comprises a ground floor steakhouse and first-floor lounge bar. Downstairs there’s a relaxed, rustic feel, with petroglyph-esque doodles on walls resembling rock faces, simple wooden furniture and an open-fire grill on which steaks and shashliks are cooked. Upstairs is a different story, however. The vast, low-lit space has a seductive atmosphere, with lots of tables and booths for lounging (and lounge they do) as well as a bar and large dance floor. Prominent white leather columns with a crystal button-back effect are mirrored by matching menus, filled with a wide range of cocktails and similar food to the restaurant downstairs. Whilst relaxing in a quiet corner here with shisha and drinks would be an ideal way to spend an evening, it would be a shame to visit without busting a groove or two. There’s a live band from 8pm until 1am and a DJ takes over until 5am – rock the Kazbar indeed.
