The Prestige opened in 2010 and offers a home away from home right on the bank of the Ishim River. With just eight rooms guests will be sure to avoid the hordes of business travellers. Each room is decorated in its own distinct style and even the single rooms possess queen-size beds, which – when coupled with the quiet location – mean one can count on sleeping soundly. The bathrooms are spotless and there are desks in each room plus WiFi, and even a small sauna. Attentive service from the super-friendly staff is the icing on the cake, making the Prestige one of our favourite new additions to the Astana hotel scene. Compare the charming, reasonably-priced Prestige with the big-bucks Radisson – which is just a couple of minutes up the river – and we know which one made us feel most like a truly valued customer.
