Tucked away just behind the Diplomat Hotel and very close to the Baiterek Tower, this Italian pizzeria is popular with a local, younger crowd. Unlike most of the cavernous restaurants in town, Chili Pepper’s is really quite intimate with less than a dozen tables, which makes for a naturally convivial atmosphere all set in stylish and modern surroundings. The mostly Italian menu offers the usual range of European staples and as always everything is photographed in high-gloss, even the teas. Conveniently located, Chili’s has proven to be a good place for a quick ‘n’ easy lunch. If you’re here for something stronger, though, then settle back with a drink and a hookah pipe or cigar, something that seems increasingly popular in the evenings when the bar at the back is in full-swing.
