True, the Dalida Café does not necessarily look much more than a fairly generic shopping centre café, but step out on to the terrace and it is immediately apparent why it has made the Hg2 grade. When the stifling heat of summer lies stagnating in Fountain Square below, you’ll catch every available breath of air up here, all the while enjoying an excellent cup of coffee and a range of the usual snacks, salads, sandwiches and sweets, or a more substantial option from the next door restaurant, which shares the same outdoor space. A great place to escape the shopping crowds below and enjoy one of the city’s best views. But you don’t have to take our word for it, just look around you – this many shoppers, students and groups of families and friends can’t be wrong.
