Bay Rock Café
The Bay Rock Café is high up on the cliffs overlooking the famous Pigeon Rocks and is one of the few places to eat in Beirut with a view of the sea. Hence, it does get touristy, but it’s simply a beautiful spot with incredible views out over the Mediterranean. As well coffee, Bay Rock does fantastic fresh lemonade, making it the perfect place to stop off along the Corniche after a stroll in the sunshine.
The food is good – a typical menu of Lebanese mezze and fish – but expensive and because of the location more popular with foreigners than locals. Still, as seafront cafés go, Bay Rock takes the podium for its views alone.
