La Posta

One of the most popular Italian restaurants in Beirut, La Posta gets as full as its menu – which offers a total of 48 main courses and a 50-strong wine list. It’s an eclectically designed place with the focus on the beautiful courtyard, where perfectly-dressed tables glimmer under high wooden patios, offering a wonderful escape from the noise of bustling Beirut streets outside, not to mention a fantastic view of the crisp Beirut night sky (a good reason to dine here for a late dinner).

The food is typically Italian and the portions generous, featuring a good selection of risottos and fish alongside pizzas and pastas. We recommend leaving room for pudding as La Posta does a mean ice cream – try the pear sorbet with grappa.
