Saifi Village Arts

An eclectic shopping selection in Beirut with everything to buy from art and design furniture to fashion and local clothing….rn

Assyla – specializes in traditional Lebanese outfits: arbeyas, shawls, shirts and dresses, all embroidered in hand-dyed materials and brightly coloured. The original shop is in the town of Baalbek in the Bekaa Valley, but this new store in Saifi Village has everything.
rnEpreuve D’Artiste – Amal Traboulsi has been one of the most active patrons of Lebanese art for over 20 years. In that time her gallery has featured prominent old and modern Lebanese and regional artists in varied genres. The gallery has moved locations three times but is now hopefully permanently located in downtown’s new arts quarter Saifi Village. The gallery itself features numerous works of art and sculpture, as well as home designer accessories.
rnMilia M – One of Beirut’s most brilliant and recognized young fashion designers, this is Milia’s first little shop. A boutique designer, she sells internationally and does a lot of work in Istanbul. Her clothes for women are all individual pieces and intimate with flowing lines and shapes designed to make one look both elegant and sexy.
rnJohnny Farah – For all your trendy leather accessories Johnny Farah is your man. His small shop specializes in everything from clothes and book covers to wallets and watch straps. Anything you want for the home he’ll design on commission.
rnNada Debs – Nada Debs has received a huge amount of local and international press over the last 5 years. Her designs for tables, chairs, lamps and jewellery are in high demand today and her new store provides the perfect showcase for her talent.
rnPlum – A contemporary fashion store featuring independent international designers and labels from New York and Europe. The funky interior design promises a very different shopping experience. But check it out for yourself.
