Pigeon Rocks

The most famous natural feature in Beirut, Pigeon Rocks are these breathtaking, off-shore rock arches rising out of the sea. Luring crowds of sightseers every day, but especially at weekends, they offer views at sunset that are simply wonderful. It’s also possible to walk down across the shore from the road and look up at the chalk cliffs from below, and you can get a side-on view of the rocks as well. During the summer months local fishermen will gladly take you on a tour of the numerous caves and inlets for a small fee.
