One of Berlin’s cool and instantly likeable bars, Zebrano takes its name from the exotic African wood used to make the DJ booth and furnishings. A cosmopolitan crowd of artists, students and locals regularly gather for a relaxed drink and a quick snack. Retro furnishings from every decade make up a minimalist but comfortable interior and several TV screens above the bar show cartoons, short films or documentaries. These idiosyncratic touches appeal to a light-hearted and good-humoured crowd. Art house film screenings take place regularly and the music is a mix of broken beat, reggae and nu-soul.
