Bocca di Bacco
Bocca di Bacco is a classy Italian restaurant on bustling Friedrichstraße, Berlin frequented by celebrities and mortals alike. Excellent Italian classics (including some fine Tuscan dishes) are served with a vast array of wines from the restaurant’s enoteca, which held 500 bottles at the last count. The menu offers everything from home – made spaghetti with Venus mussels or duck liver on lamb’s lettuce, to more complex dishes like stuffed pheasant breast. Prices are on the high side, but then Bocca di Bacco is in a high profile tourist area and the cooking’s gastronomic qualities are undeniable. The tables next to the large front windows are for those who want to see and be seen.
