Flea Markets

The flea markets of Berlin are a bargain-hunters paradise! Most homes (and bars for that matter) are decked out in retro furnishings and curious objects purchased from the markets listed below.

Am Mauerpark, Bernauer Straße 63/64, Prenzlauer Berg. 8am-4pm Sun.

Located on the old East-West border. An el dorado for lovers of cool fashion, house and techno records from the early 1990s and paperback books.

Arkonaplatz, Prenzlauer Berg. 10am-4pm Sun.

Authentic small market with anice atmosphere: bric-a-brac, furniture and vintage fashion of the 1960s and 1970s; lots of cafés to rest and relax in nearby.

Boxhagener Platz 1, Friedrichshain. 10am-6pm Sun.

Small market for a hip and left-wing clientele, with great selection like t-shirts, computer button rings, bowls fabricated from records etc. all by local artists.

Kunst und Nostalgie Markt, Museuminsel, Zeughaus, Kupfergraben, Mitte. 11am-5pm Sat/Sun.

Located in the historic centre of the city; this market contains a broad selection of books, clothes, antiques, souvenirs and other bric-a-brac. Old GDR relics can be found here.

Marheinekeplatz, Bergmannstraße, Kreuzberg. 10am-5pm, every last Sat/Sun of the month.

Records, books and retro furnishings can be found at this small market.

Rathaus Schöneberg, John-F-Kennedy Platz, Schöneberg. 9am-4pm Sat/Sun.

Market selling electronic equipment, knick-knacks, clothes and shoes.

Straße des 17. Juni, Tiergarten. 10am-5pm Sat/Sun.

Long stretch selling antiques and curios. Can be touristy.

Zille-Hof, Fasanenstraße 14, Charlottenburg. 8am-5.30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-1pm Sat.
