There are floors in Andres DC, one of the bars in Bogota with a definite theme, which represent hell, purgatory, earth and heaven and waiters dressed as harlequins, Gothic brides and demons wander the floors and ignite the debauched party atmosphere. The décor is incredible, with lots of reds and dark displays, and winding corridors that are easy to get lost in. At the beginning of each night (or afternoon, as is tendency here), Andres DC is set up like a restaurant with plenty of tables and delicious steaks and beers on the menu. But either spontaneously, or following the example of the wonderfully-dressed staff, customers leap up onto tables and the night really begins. Most patrons are in the twenties and all are very keen to have a good time. Look out for the life-sized sculpture of Jesus.
