The bar at Disco Jaguar is dark but pretty, with padded stools, gold frames and chandeliers, all of which are lit by a large pink neon heart – it’s one of the more kitsch places to drink in Bogotá. There’s plenty of choice on the cocktail-front, but not too much in the way of beer. An adjacent dance floor is lit up by 80s-style greens, purples and reds, and the weaving corridors are covered in cartoon graffiti. Top DJs and bands often play here, ranging from rock to reggae but always high-quality music. The gallery mimics a children’s playground and has plenty to buy, while the sex shop is certain to bring a little fun to your night. Disco Jaguar is edgy and slightly alternative without being sketchy, so let loose and have fun.
