Eight Bells Inn
Opened by an English couple, Eight Bells Inn boasts one of the most authentic English vibes of the bars in Bogotá. On any given night expect to see both locals and ex-pats propping up its bar. Every inch of the interior is decorated with a hodgepodge of miscellaneous memorabilia: Guinness mats, old newspaper clippings and hardback books line the walls, and spare surfaces are crammed with an odd assortment of trophies, lanterns, typewriters and tennis rackets. Indeed, it’s the perfect place to linger for hours over a pint of beer as Bogotá’s latest rain storm passes over, or for a blokey evening of pub food and 60s rock.
