Michel Patissier is one of the small but attractive bakeries in Bogotá. It provides a refuge from the chaos of Zona T, as well as a charming sanctuary for both coffee and croissant enthusiasts. The café is largely monochrome and large glass cabinets display the delicious desserts. The croissants here sell quickly, although the éclairs are truly decadent and the tarts are some of the best in the city. Many come laden with shopping bags and stop for a milky coffee and a break from city life, though others come here to stock up on goods for the entire week. There are plenty of little snacks, such as the chocolate-covered almonds, and everything you try here is carefully-made and deliciously light.
