The bike tours in Bogotá leave every day at 10.30am, but if you struggle to get out of bed at such a ludicrously early time (at least while on holiday) a second one begins at the more sensible time of 1.30pm. Tours last three or five hours, and include several parks as well as many of Candelaria’s museums and universities. The tours are extremely well organised and provide a excellent historical and cultural context as you see each site. Bikes are priced at $25,000 each (that’s pesos, not American dollars).
