The botanical garden is one of the loveliest things to do in Bogotá. It is a spectacular green space with over 19 hectares of grounds containing greenhouses housing every single Colombian plant. The garden strives to recreate the regions of each specific part, and so lakes and stunning displays scatter the grounds. There are two-metre high beds of colourful flowers, as well as acres of walnut trees and the biggest aquatic Amazonian flower in the world. Tickets are $2,000 for adults and $1,000 for children.
