Iguazu Falls
The impressive Iguazu falls, at 269 feet, are higher than the Niagara falls and twice as wide, with 275 cascades spread out in a horseshoe over almost two miles of the Iguazu river. These falls were created by a volcanic eruption that left a crack in the earth.
rn
rnDuring the rainy season (from November to March), 450,000 cubic feet of water fall per second. If you don’t have time to stay overnight at the Sheraton Hotel (see SLEEP), then definitely opt for the day trip – a private flight leaves from Buenos Aires.
