Le Bistrot

Eating in Chamonix doesn’t get more adventurous or tasty than at this establishment: part of the four-star Morgane hotel, Le Bistrot is run by Michelin-starred head chef Mickey Bourdillat. Having worked under fellow Michelin star-holder Marc Verrat, Mickey became a fan of emulsions and any one meal is interspersed with tasty mouse-like appetisers.

Served up against a modern, minimalist interior, the menu is innovative and simple and makes use of seasonal, locally-sourced produce; dishes include trout and oysters with wasabi and lime, sweet and sour cod with spaghetti, olives and peppers, scallops with pumpkin and mushrooms, and John Dory with bacon and fillet of lake perch. Be sure to book a table to avoid disappointment.
