Evolution 2, which offers lessons in Chamonix and all over the French Alps, was one of the first ski schools to challenge the dominance of ESF in the late 1980s. Opened in 1997, the school is less formulaic than ESF de Chamonix with more emphasis on teaching rather than a ‘follow me and bend zee knees’ approach.
Courses are available for all levels, from beginners through to advanced and off-piste. The all-mountain course is particularly popular, which includes four half-days lessons that lead to tackling the famed Vallee Blanche run on a Friday. No more than eight in a group.
