Serving seriously good food in a seriously smart setting, La Saulire accurately bills itself as ‘the place’ for dining out in Courchevel. We couldn’t agree more, with a reservations book that’s fit-to-bursting with everyone who’s anyone and prices to match. Where else would you find caviar prices that begin at €190?
Exotic starters aside, culinary superstar Benoît Redondo has put together a menu that mixes classical French flavours such as snails in tarragon butter with seared scallops, sea bass and sole meuniere. And if that isn’t rich enough, there’s an entire section of the menu dedicated to truffle dishes. Wines start at €45 a bottle and go all the way up to €3,500; brandy nightcaps range from €25 to €295. In short, Le Saulire sets the scene for a decadent dinner indeed.
